Durban’s newest coffee shop, Coffee Tree, is up and running and the locals are more than pleased. Judd Campbell, owner of Corner Cafe, has embarked on a new coffee adventure in the leafy suburbs of Glenwood.
Perfectly located below a block of flats, on the corner of Alan Paton Road and Cato Road, this residential coffee spot is a quiet retreat from the busyness of everyday life. Coffee Tree serves a fruity Kenyan blend of coffee from Colombo Coffee, and offers a myriad of foodie options, including vegan and gluten free meals.
Coffee Tree is a quirky cafe with it’s bright red heart logo and rustic coffee bar interior. The service is oh so friendly, and the coffee is good to drink without sugar (that’s when you know it’s good). Choose to sit inside at the bar or outside on the patio, Coffee Tree has free wifi so it really is a convenient cafe to sit at and get through some work.
Coffee Tree is definitely worth the trip to Glenwood so check it out the next time you are up for a coffee adventure. Open Monday - Friday (6.30am - 5.30pm) & Sat - Sun (7am - 12pm).
