Truth Coffee

Truth Coffee has always been on my Cape Town Top 10 list, and this past week I have been reminded of why this is. The cafe, the coffee, the treats, and the service are all worth applauding. Recently acclaimed for its Steampunk design, this cafe is truly unique with the large equipment visible for all patrons to see, and hear.

Coffee beans whirling around in a vintage drum behind me, men and women happily working at the “boardroom” type tables, and happy couples perched amongst the leather, high back chairs. Truth is most definitely a coffee shop you must visit when in Cape Town.

The menu at Truth is vast, with many an option of coffee, tea and delicious foodie treats. I treated myself to a chocolate croissant and a flat white. I was in my element. Truth roast their own selection of beans and only once roasted do they create blends. They pride themselves on the fact that their coffee is not bitter and therefore you do not need to add sugar. It’s the truth people! (see what i did there.. ha ha)
